Visitors to the Central branch of the Vancouver Public Library were treated Saturday to a one hour performance featuring the twelve-member Touch of Brass Ensemble. Musicians were staggered at different levels in the building’s landmark seven-storey atrium, filling the space with sonorous tones that resembled less a typical symphony as a twilight collage of sounds from the subconscious.
